Cookie policy
MemoryFirst uses minimal cookies and self-hosted analytics. PostHog cookies and Meta advertising cookies are only set if you accept them in the banner.
Strictly necessary cookies
mf_session: authenticated session token (httpOnly, secure, sameSite=strict). Expires on logout or 30 days.mf_theme: dark/light theme preference. No personal data.mf_locale: preferred language (en/es). No personal data.cl_consent: your choice in the cookie banner and the date you made it. It is what lets the server obey it and what lets us prove it. Expires after 180 days.
Marketing cookies
cl_attr: records where your visit came from (source, medium, campaign, landing page and, if you arrive from an ad, the platform click id) so we can tell what makes us known. Set by MemoryFirst from its own domain, not by a third party, and it lasts 90 days.
It is a marketing cookie, it is not needed for the service to work, and so it is stored ONLY if you accept the Advertising category in the banner: never before you do, and not if you choose "Essential only". You can change or withdraw your choice at any time from "Cookie settings" in the footer. If you already have one from before, it is still read when you create your account but never renewed, and you can delete it from your browser settings.
Meta pixel (advertising)
MemoryFirst uses the Meta pixel (also called "dataset"), a tool of Meta Platforms Ireland Limited (Merrion Road, Dublin 4, D04 X2K5, Ireland), to learn whether a visit comes from one of our ads on Facebook or Instagram, whether it ends in a sign-up or purchase, and to show our ads to people with similar interests.
It only loads if you accept the “Advertising” category in the cookie banner. Before you decide, or if you reject it, no Meta code is downloaded and no request is sent to Meta's servers.
What Meta receives: the page you visit, date and time, your IP address, browser and device type, the identifiers of the cookies below and, if you sign up or buy, the event name (for example “CompleteRegistration”) with non-personal data such as amount and currency. We do not send your name, email or phone number, and the pixel's automatic event collection is turned off.
Legal basis: your consent (art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and art. 5(3) ePrivacy Directive). For the collection and transmission of this data Meta and we are joint controllers under Meta's Business Tools Terms; Meta's further use of it is governed by its own privacy policy (facebook.com/privacy/policy).
International transfers: Meta may process the data in the United States. Meta Platforms, Inc. is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
You can withdraw consent at any time from the “Cookie settings” link in the footer. When you do, we stop loading the pixel and delete the _fbp and _fbc cookies from our domain. You can also adjust your ad preferences in your Meta account settings.
We store your choice in the cl_consent cookie, which is essential and needs no consent: it only holds which categories you accepted, the date and the banner version you answered. If we add a new third party we raise that version and ask you again.

Analytics
Self-hosted, privacy-friendly analytics (no cookies, GDPR-compliant by design). Aggregated, anonymous page-view counts only.
If you accept the Analytics category, PostHog (EU region) sets its ph_* cookies (up to 1 year) and anonymously records browsing on the public pages, without recording the session. It never loads on your account dashboard.
Support chat
Support chat. The assistant on this site runs on AgenteUno. Until you open it, it stores nothing on your device; when you write, it uses your browser's session storage (not a cookie) to keep the conversation going. Its usage statistics are measured only if you accept the Analytics category in the banner. Details of the processing, including the language-model provider (Cerebras Systems Inc., under standard contractual clauses) and the voice provider (Google Gemini Live, EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework), are in the privacy policy: /legal/privacy.
Third parties
We do not use Google Analytics or the LinkedIn Insight Tag. Apart from the support chat described above, the only third parties are PostHog, which only loads if you accept the Analytics category, and the Meta pixel, described above, which only loads if you accept the Advertising category; without your acceptance, no third party reads any cookie we set.
