MemoryFirst vs Zep / Graphiti
Graphiti is the open-source temporal graph engine behind Zep, its managed version. It is probably the strongest graph-memory infrastructure on the market for someone building an AI agent from scratch: temporal, with SDKs in Python and TypeScript, built to be integrated into a development team’s stack. Managed Zep has three plans (as of July 2026): Free, Flex at $125/month and Flex Plus at $375/month; the exact credit figures included in each plan haven’t been independently verified.
MemoryFirst doesn’t compete with Graphiti on graph engineering: it competes one level up.
