MemoryFirst vs Supermemory
Supermemory positions itself as “the memory layer for AI agents”: a developer-first API, with close to 28,500 GitHub stars as of July 2026. It’s important to be precise here: unlike the other competitors on this page, several of its product and pricing claims did not survive our independent verification. What we did observe directly on their public site: the developer-first messaging, the absence of a visible demo on the homepage, and that no social proof (logos, testimonials, figures) appears on their homepage despite the GitHub stars.
MemoryFirst and Supermemory start at an almost identical entry price. The difference isn’t the number, it’s the deliverable: Supermemory gives you an API to build your own memory experience on top of; MemoryFirst gives you that experience already built, with curation and a brief included.

Supermemory’s product, pricing and social-proof data comes from its own public site (supermemory.ai) and its GitHub repository, observed as of July 2026. Unlike the rest of this comparison, it hasn’t been confirmed through independent verification; we’ll update it if it changes.
Same entry price, different deliverable
